Ginger Hill - Secretary
I first started singing and playing guitar, before my church congregation, when I was nine years old. While in high school, I performed in opries and participated in talent shows. In my early twenties, I joined the Wylie Opry house band. I have also been a member of Heartwheel, Sizzle, Scott Hurley Band, and Dewayne Davis and Friends Band.
My most notable performances were performing at 6th Street during South by South West in Austin, Six Flags Over Texas, Guerrero's and The Iron Cactus in Austin, the Alaska State Fair, and being a part of the International Sweet Adelines Chorus. I also write and produce.
I'm super excited to see, and more importantly, bring together, the different kinds of hidden gems and creative talents hutto has to offer.

I have been a Laser Engineer for 25 years in the semiconductor field. When we first moved to Hutto we noticed hundreds of Hippo statues in peoples yards and business’s. We wanted to represent our city, but did not want a huge hippo in our yard. I went online and found a small flat hippo mold to make my own concrete hippo stepping stone. I made a few and put them in the flowerbeds. My wife took some pictures and posted them on social media. We immediately received feedback asking if we were selling them- so I started this hobby for about 6 years ago. I work with several 3D printers to custom make all my models. I cast the mold, paint and finish each custom piece. I’ve now expanded outside of Hippos and to other towns because of my love of the craft.

I started with Hutto ISD as an Art teacher in 2007. In 2019, I was named the first ever Fine Arts Coordinator for Hutto ISD. I have been recently promoted to Director and I look forward to continuing to grow our Fine Arts programs. In my spare time I create my own artwork that includes watercolor and acrylic portraits, pottery and various other media. I am thrilled to be serving on the Hutto Arts & Entertainment Commission and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish together.

I began sculpting professionally over 20 years ago. In the early 2000s I became famous for my polymer clay portrait sculptures and wedding cake toppers. The five-foot life-size "bride’s cake" (where the polymer-clay-sculpted head and shoulders emerged from a six tiered cake) brought me international acclaim! My work has appeared on CNN, Inside Edition, countless news stories and in Inside Weekly Magazine. I have appeared on HGTV's That's Clever!, and my art dolls have been published in several national magazines. Currently, I have sculptures on display in the Georgetown Sculpture Tour, the Cedar Park Sculpture Garden and in the Bee Cave Sculpture Park.
Our studio is located in Central Texas just outside of Austin in the best small town known for it's love of Hippos! - Hutto, Texas.

I am a Multimedia artist and graphic designer, I’ve been creating art for over 15 years. Currently, I am employed by the City of Hutto as a graphic designer. July 2024 will be my first time having work in an exhibit, which will be at Williamson Museum. I am working on a series called ‘comfort.’ I moved to Hutto in 2020, just before the first wave of shut downs. I worked hard to find other artists like me and find a sense of belonging in our charming city. It is a privilege to serve on this board and help grow opportunities for artists.

With over 30 years in the lighting industry and nearly 15 years as a sound designer in theater and concert production, the arts are my passion. I was afforded the privilege of designing sound and lighting for two first-run shows (Ruth, When Calls the Heart; Galloway/Landrum Productions) for Cornerstone University. As a lighting designer, I was part of a team that received 4 th place accolades in the Inaugural ArtPrize competition (2009) for “Grand Dance” by David Lubbers. In 2003, I was asked to participate as the lighting consultant for the “Dead Sea Scrolls” traveling exhibit at the Van Andel Museum Center in MI. These and so many other opportunities have shaped who I am as a designer and a person. I have been married for 26 years to a remarkable lady that keeps me grounded. I have two extraordinary kids who are both deeply involved in theatrical pursuits. It is an honor to have a voice in the arts community in Hutto, and I am excited about aiding in developing future opportunities for our local artists.
